RSS NewsFeed - How To
» What is RSS?
RSS (Realy Simple Syndication) is a very useful tool if you want to keep yourself updated on your favorite websites (...like nswardh.com *cough* ...amongst others).
» What do I need?
You need a feed reader wich is also known as an Aggregator. There are a number of free Aggregators that you can use, just google it and you'll find them.
Besides RSS being available on the computer, it can also be used on Cellphones ;)
Personally I use a feed reader called Sage wich is a Firefox extension. If you use Firefox, then you can also use the built-in Live Bookmarks feature, very useful!
» How do I subscribe to RSS feeds?
It's easy, simply go to a site where you find the icon and click on it. In most cases your Aggregator automaticly identifies the RSS and add it to your reader.
If your Aggregator doesn´t identify the RSS, just copy the URL and paste it into your news reader and you´re all set.
